Electronics repair technician

We are looking for an electronics repair & test technician for our client, a company with an international activity, to carry out quality assurance on new products and to diagnose faults and repair on existing equipment. 

• As an electronics repair & test technician, you will test new equipment prior to dispatch, as well as carry out repairs under warranty and in accordance with contractual terms.
• You will do this using the appropriate equipment and by conducting tests such as voltage, current, audio and visual checks.
• Where necessary, you will liaise with R&D to find solutions together.
• In the event of faulty equipment, you will carry out the necessary analyses and, for minor repairs, rewire, solder, load and configure software, etc.
• You will report every intervention and the materials used so that recurring issues can be investigated in greater depth.
• You will contribute to product optimisation projects and periodically calibrate the test benches.

• As an electronics technician, you hold an A2 qualification or a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and ICT, or have equivalent experience.
• You can demonstrate initial work experience or an internship as a technician and have a passion for electronics.
• You have a basic understanding of printed circuit boards, audio and visual technology, Linux, Windows, etc., and can read schematics with ease.
• You enjoy working accurately and analytically and are able to follow procedures.
• You are communicative in Dutch and English.
